Mission Statement and History

As financial institutions get larger through acquisitions and mergers,
their customers often find themselves further removed from the people
who make the decisions about their credit accommodations and products.
This can result in a breakdown in communication and an overall deterioration
in the delivery system of those services.
We see AVB as an alternative to the larger banks operating in our area. Our aim is to provide excellent service with the highest practical level of personal interaction to small businesses and individuals in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County.
